Rural Libraries to Host Community Health Workers with Grant Funding from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund

Community Health Workers at the Library Initiative

Everyday Life

Uniting Health and Knowledge Under One Roof

Welcome to a pioneering approach to community wellness, where health support is as accessible as a library book. Everyday Life Consulting, in collaboration with iMPROve Health, is delighted to unveil the Community Health Workers at the Library Initiative. Funded through a Michigan Health Endowment Fund grant, this initiative is a crucial part of the larger “Libraries as Mental Health Hubs” project, which includes training library staff and organizing events. This program interlinks the tranquility of libraries with the dynamism of health services, providing a sanctuary for health education and support right in your local community.

Why Libraries?

Libraries are the cornerstones of our communities—a place of learning, safety, and community engagement. By situating health services within libraries, we make it easier for you to access the help you need in a space that is comfortable and familiar.

Together for Healthier Communities

With every library visit, we’re not just opening books—we’re opening doors to better health and a stronger community. Join us at the crossroad where knowledge meets wellness and empower yourself with the resources to lead a healthier life.
