This CHW Training offers a variety of training styles. Self-Paced and Hybrid are in a accelerated format for experienced CHWs

Everyday Life Consulting is providing the Nationally recognized core competency based Community Health Worker Certificate Training.

Training Options

• Virtual – 12 Live Instructor Led Virtual Training Days.

Successful completion of the program does not guarantee employment but does enhance your employability in the community health worker profession.

All participants who successfully complete the training will be receive a certificate.

Our engaging instructors use hands-on practice, group activities, demonstrations, role-playing, case studies, and simulations to facilitate content using the popular education model.

Current and past students will continue to stay connected with others in the field to establish lifelong connections with access to online learning community.

High quality CHW training is an essential component of successful Community Health Worker programs.

In order to gain the most benefit from training sessions, our trainers build on the skills that Community Health Workers already have, present information in a culturally appropriate and accessible way, and review key knowledge areas as well as provide specific tools and techniques for the programs they will be working in.

This course aligns with the standards of the C3 Project Core Competencies for Community Health Workers, as well as many state certification programs, and recognized best practices.

Most importantly, it is led by Everyday Life’s team of experts who have conducted training nationally and currently work in the field as CHWs.

Training is 160 total hours, (which includes 100 instruction hours, and 50 applying your knowledge/skills). Students will schedule virtual coaching sessions for live instruction in addition to completing their assignments through a 24 hr access learning management system.

Required Textbook: Foundations for Community Health Workers 2nd edition and workbook will be mailed after enrollment.
