HOPE Framework Training helps professionals shift from a primarily deficit- and risk-focused approach toward one that intentionally recognizes strengths, protective factors, and positive experiences.
Participants will explore how the HOPE Framework can be incorporated into everyday conversations, assessments, service delivery, referrals, and relationship-building.
Rather than focusing only on challenges or adverse experiences, HOPE encourages us to identify and strengthen the experiences and relationships that promote resilience, connection, and well-being.

The way we ask questions matters.
When systems focus only on risks, needs, and problems, we may overlook the strengths, relationships, and experiences that are already helping people move forward.
HOPE provides professionals with a practical framework for making strengths visible and building upon what is already working.
This approach aligns naturally with Community Health Worker practice—meeting people where they are, recognizing lived experience, building trusting relationships, and supporting individuals and families in identifying their own strengths and opportunities.
HOPE Framework Training can support organizations looking to strengthen trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based practices across their workforce.
Training can be incorporated into professional development, CHW workforce training, family-serving programs, healthcare initiatives, community-based services, and organizational learning.
